On Friday September 3rd at 09.30 a.m. the swearing-in ceremony of four officers took place in the office of the Acting Lt. Governor Mrs.Rachnilda J.A. Lynch-Arduin at the Government Administration Building in Philipsburg.

Bridgetown, Barbados: West Indies Cricket Board and Digicel, proud sponsor of cricket in the West Indies today announced details of the Digicel Youth Cricket Development Programme.  

The Central Commitee Meeting, which began on Tuesday August 31, 2010 was continued on Wednesday morning. 

On Wednesday morning members of the Main Voting Bureau were called to a meeting, to verify the validity of the list of candidates for the upcoming Election on September 17th , 2010.

On Wednesday, after an assessment of the situation at schools, and in consultation with educational officials, it has been decided that schools will remain closed this week and will open on Monday, September 6.
