On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 04.00 p.m. police and detectives were directed to Welfare road in the vicinity of Peiking Supermarket for a stabbing incident. On the scene the investigating officers did not encounter the victim and were told, that he was taken by private vehicle to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for treatment.

On Wednesday August 25th at approximately 08.40 p.m. several police patrols and Detectives were sent to Madrid Drive in Dutch Quarter for a shooting incident. On the scene the investigating officers encountered the victim with the initials A.S. 37 years old from Jamaica lying on the street. The victim was bleeding from gun shot wounds to both legs.
