98.1 Pearl FM Radio - St.Maarten

On Thursday September 20th at a proximately 08.00 a.m. a police patrol was directed to the Arlet Peters road (Road leading through the hill behind former Cake house to Cole Bay) where a possible stolen vehicle was found.

On the scene the patrol noticed that the vehicle in question was a black Hyundai Accent which was heavily tinted and did not have any license plate. As the patrol continued with their investigation, they saw a hole which was possibly caused by a projectile in the right side of the trunk. The vehicle did not seem to be stolen and is possibly the same suspect vehicle that was involved in the armed robbery of the Happy Bar and Restaurant the night before and at which police fired several shots. The Forensic department was directed to the scene and did their investigation. The vehicle has been confiscated for further investigation.
